Desolated furniture is combined and disguised to produce new forms, functions and identities. The ‘skeleton’ is a combination of existing chairs and tables, being wrapped in an elastic synthetic fiber. The material shrinks around the different pieces and forms a smooth, elastic skin, giving them an entirely new appearance. The Kokon furniture range is designed by Jurgen Bey for Droog’s 1997 Dry Tech project.

please note: The shown images are only meant as a reference. A Kokon piece of art is custom made to order and depends on the existing furniture at hand of the designers. It will be a combination of a table, one or more chairs, but the choice for base furniture will be made by the studio. The item delivered will definitely differ from the images shown here. We will quote you seperately on delivery costs, depending on the size of the piece and the country it is delivered to.
