The three yellow handpainted hands in the inside of the bowl represents the earth and water, imagined by using Indian mudras (a symbolic, ritual gesture or pose performed with the hands and fingers) showing a flower bud, a lotus bud and a flowering lotus.
please note:
The blue pottery items can NOT hold liquids; the ceramic and glazing is soft and porous. When liquids are poured the bowl will absorb it like a sponge resulting in damp spots or leakage. Drinking from it is unhealthy. All items are meant as showpieces only.
maintenance:
This item is not suitable for dishwashers. Clean with a dry or slightly wetted cloth only.
