Dish towel, originally designed for the education space of Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam. The towel shows the 1834 painting 'Plassen bij Rotterdam' (Lakes near Rotterdam) by Hubertus van Hove (1814-1865), part of the Boijmans collection. The windmill is the centrepiece of the painting, like a marker. In reflection Studio Makkink & Bey tells a story on wind and cardinal points with illustrations and word art woven into the towel.
